The HackSoc Wiki is provided by HackSoc.

HackSoc is the data controller for the HackSoc Wiki (all pages under the domain wiki.hacksoc.org).

We collect your email address if you register for an account.
Your IP address may be recieved when you use this site: which could be used to infer geographical location.
We collect information about your contributions to the Wiki, if any.

We process data to provide access to the Wiki and allow others to see who made what contributions to it. Data is also processed to allow administrators to take suitable actions against users who do not follow the rules of the Wiki.

We use reasonable measures to keep this data secure.
We do not sell or share this information, except when required to comply with the law.
We retain data only for the time required to provide access to the Wiki or allow others to view contribution history.

Be aware that anything you do on the Wiki is publicly and permanently available.
The HackSoc committee and other users designated as administrators on the Wiki are able to access some nonpublic information about recent contributions to the Wiki.

Your data is used to provide secure access to the Wiki.
It may also be used to be able to provide a method to respond to you, if this is required.
The Wiki is not designed for use by children 13 years or younger.
We do not intentionally collect or maintain any data about anyone under the age of 13.
All personal data is stored in the European Economic Area (EEA).

You have the right to request information about how your personal data is processed.
You may request a copy of said personal data.
You can request corrections to any inaccuracies to your personal data (this includes changes to your username).
You can raise an objection against how your personal data is processed.
You can request that your personal data is erased.
To request any of these actions, contact our Data Protection Officer, as below.

The HackSoc Wiki may link to other websites or services.
This policy does not apply to those linked websites or services.
These will have their own privacy policies and terms and conditions.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you may not use the HackSoc Wiki.

If you have a question about anything in this privacy policy, or you think your personal data is being misused or mishandled:

A response is required to be given within one calendar month.

This policy may be changed. In that case, the date at the bottom of the page will also change.
Any changes will apply immediately to you and your data.
